a question about school

So I don't know what to do.
I talked to the head of Sociology, and he said that yes, I can stay on an extra year at school and do a whole A-Level in that one year.
So do you think I should?
I mean it would get me into a better uni, the one I initially wanted to go to (coincidently the one he went to, haha). But it's another year, OK that's not very long, but still everyone will be going off and I'll be left on my own... Haha OK it seems like an obvious choice I guess I just want to hear what you guys think I should do..
Oh, this year I will (hopefully!) get BBD, if I was to stay on and do the A-Level I'd have BBBD, and to get into Keele you need BBB (or 300 UCAS points)

So sorry I've not updated much and not commented ~~much~~ at all. And I know I start every post with that but still...

Anyway, for some reason I've signed up for National Novel Writing Month... I'm blaming ioanite! Even though I've never written anything is my entire life. I mean I've thought about it but I've thought about doing a lot of things, haha ;) So yeah, I don't hold high hopes of it being a success...

Today when I tried syncing music to my iPod from iTunes it just crashed while syncing it. I tried with 4 albums and the same thing happened every time! I had to disconnect my iPod (by just pulling it out from my computer) then iTunes worked perfectly and worked again when I tried to sync more music!
After plugging my iPod back in the music seems to be there and plays correctly, and it also play when my iPod isn't plugged in. But I'm not sure if the fact that they've (maybe) not been snyced may cause any problem (to be honest I'm not really sure what syncing does..).
Sorry I'm not very goot at explaining things..

So that presentation I was talking about; didn't happen! We ran out of time. I was obviously relieved but kinda pissed as I'd been worrying about it then I'd psyched myself up for it, and I'd also researcehd it and everything... Oh well..

Yeah tonight was parents evening. All teachers just said the same 'pleasure to teach', 'quiet but can tell she understands', 'understanding the work', 'believe she can reach her target', and so on...
But my psychology teacher asked me what grades I was going to get and what uni I was wanting to go to. I said BBD and he asked what the D was in, I said maths, he said that maths was a hard subject...
You know what, I wish I never took maths! Although I do like it and to be honest it is my favourite suject. And while I'm not struggeling in it, I do understand it, there is no way I can get abouve a D in that.
My psychology teacher said if I had taken siciology I would also get a B in that. And he said they do a module of criminology, which is what I want to do!
So my mum suggested I take a gap year and do sociology A-Level in one year at the collage. I really don't want to go to the collage cause it's just shit. So just no. But then she said maybe the school would let me stay behind (which they do if you want to) and do both AS and A2 sociology in one year. Now I'm not sure if they would allow me, but I think I'm going to ask tomorrow, I mean I did it at GCSE and if I do stay behind that's all I would be doing.
Now I really don't mind staying behind an extra year to get an extra A-Level! And if I do get a B in that I'd have BBBD (assuming this year I get BBD), and then I could go to Keele! Which is where I really really want to go but they ask for BBB.
So yeah I think I'll ask my psychology teacher tomorrow if that's at all possible...

So I've written what I'm going to say in my Counterculture presentation.
I think we're supposed to do it like a propper presentation, you know like a powerpoint, but the other two who I'm working with, I don't think they know that or something cause they just told me to write a page just to read out. That's even worse! Cause like instead of me just reading from the board and people looking at that, they're now going to be looking at me and my hand shaking holdong the piece of paper...
Ergh! And I'm not even sure if I've included the right things but whatever, it's not too long so I'm not going to add anything!
So yeah literally dreading that tomorrow! :(

Ergh I have to tell about my friend in maths. She's the one who got Us in all her AS's... So yeah but she's still doing A2's and just resitting AS at the same time. But she knows nothing about maths!
Everything we do I have to explain to her! I seriously don't think she's actually answered a question one her own! So she like copies my answers then asks me to explain it to her when she doesn't understand!
And even worse, she still doesn't understande things when the teacher is going over it on the board! She asks me like 'How did he do that?' and I'm like because of the rule you wrote down 5 minutes ago!! And then she says that she doesn't read them as she's writing them?! WTF? And then even when she does read them she doesn't understand them and I still have to explain things to her!
Like it's so hard when I'm trying to just get on with it myself and answer as many questions I can in the lesson, but she's sat next to me sighing and saying she doesn't understand. And she copies my homework! And then (of corse) asks me to explain that to her! I really dislike her copying my homework, because to be honest, and I know this sounds bad but whatever, I'd like the teacher to know that she's struggling. I don't know why, just because I don't like that fact that she doesn't do anything but the teacher still thinks she's doing as good as me. And I know it'll just catch up with her in the exam but it's still really annoying!
And then she complains in the library that she has so much to do and whatever, but she doesn't do anything! I'm like 'Stop complaining and do something then!'. Ergh it's so annoying!

Long time since I've updated. Not since I've been back at school, which actually was a week ago but it feels like longer :(

So when I got to school on the first day back I found Firyal, she asked me what I got for my results, she said well done when I told her. She was, I don't know if you remember, in the same situation as me, being that she thought she was going to do really shit in her exams. She thought she'd fail maths and chemistry, but she never really mentioned biology and French, so I assume she was feeling she'd do alright. But anyway, when I asked her what she got she said she didn't do so well I was like "Aww I'm sorry. But you can't have failed everything", but she did! Can you believe she got 4 Us!! OMG haha, well it's not funny...
But anyway the French and maths department have let her keep doing A2 while resitting all the AS exams, but she's resitting AS biology. So she's in my maths which is cool :)

But, ergh, I hate my English class! I hate the teacher, the people in the class, the rooms we're in and the books we're studying! I hate it hate it hate it so much! The class; I don't know anyone! Well I kow them, but I'm not friends with them. And there's this one girl, who was in my form in years 7-9, but I've not seen her since. She's a total bitch she was so mean to me and my friends when we were in the same class. And the fact that she's in that class just makes me so uncomfortable, I just hate it. I just don't dare talk in class.
Ergh and the books we're reading; Death of a Salesman, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (read it), Dutchess of Malfi (never heard of it...) and the poets we'll be studying are Donne and Webster.
I just want to be in my old English class again, haha. Where I liked the class and the teachers and the books we studied (I didn't love them or anything but they were OK I guess). Ohhh..

So my maths class is OK, but everyone is so smart! And they just get on with their work! WTF?! Haha. I liked my old class where we did our work while all joking and everything. Oh it was so fun. But I do like my new class and the teachers are OK so I guess it's not too bad.

My psychology class is good :) I don't really know some of the people but I sit next to this boy Liam who I'm kinda friends with. And I like the teachers a lot so it's cool :)

Erm, I don't really have anything to say so I don't really know why I'm updating..
So I start school in two weeks (on the 7th). I'm kinda looking forward to the first day, just cause you don't do anything all day! And I get my timetable which I always get excited about, haha. And the first few weeks'll be cool, untill the timetable (I think it's a two week timetable this year) starts again and it's like all repetative and mechanical, well maybe not mechanical but it feels like it is.

Hmm... That is all I can think to say... Oh my brother gets his one GCSE result on Thursday (he's in year 9 but his class is doing their Stats GCSE two years early! I keep telling myself that they didn't do that when I was in year 9 but if they did I would have done it hearly too, haha). I did stats in year 11 allong with my maths GCSE so basically he just won't do it then, so he's not getting any more than me or anything, but guess what he's predicted?! An A*! If I get an A in year 11 and my brother gets and A* in year 9 I'll be so embarrassed! Haha...

Oh, also last week I was thinking about an LJ user on my friends list who I also added on twitter and facebook and was thinking I'd not heard from them in a while. So I looked at their twitter and it said I wasn't following them so I tried to follow them but they'd blocked me! They'd also deleted my from FB and LJ :( I got more upset about that than I should have, haha.. Still, I want to know why she BLOCKED me! I mean if you don't like someone you just unfollow them, you don't need to block them! Harsh!

Eng Lit: B (I thought I'd get a C, cause I knew my coursework was a B, but I didn't feel the exam went too well)
Gen Studies: D (Haha I got a U in the second exam :\ Oh well, I'm still gonna keep it next year, not many unis accept it but some may and you don't even have to go to any lessons!)
Maths: E (Yessss! I can keep maths! I'm so happy! I got an E in mechanics, I actually thought I did better in that. But I got a D in Core 2, way better than I was expecting. I got a U in Core 1 haha, for the second time! But I'm totally going to resit it next year, I'm determined to pass it! Haha and hopefully I can push that up to a D
Graphics: E (Holy shit!! I had totally given up on graphics! I was expecting a U! Wow well chuffed!)

So yeah... I was expecting BCEUU, but instead I got BBDEE...

So, next year I'll take psychology, eng lit and maths, oh and general studies. So if I can get BBD that's 260 UCAS points, which is how many I need to get into Bangor University to study Crimonology with Psychology, but I need 240 to study Psychology with Criminology...
What's the difference between Crim w/ Psych and Psych w/ Crim? I don't get it...
So I'd love to get into Bangor, I would prefer Keele but you need 300 UCAS points there so that's like ABC or BBB, which I don't see happening..

I am slightly worried that, because we apply before I'll be able to resit that maths module, that I'll have to apply with 240 points and they won't accept me... I'm not really sure how it works to be honest.

I am worried about my personal statement tho, haha. Like I don't do anything outside of school, don't have a job, don't voulenteer or anything...

Anyway, one thing at a time, haha. I'm just please with my results. I mean they're not amazing or anything, but they're better than I was expecting! Wayy better!

So next year I'm just gonna have to work really hard and get those grades. :)

Eeek! I get my results tomorrow :/
I'm not really worried, cause I know I've done badly.. I'm just nervous about mum and dad and everyone else finding out how crap I've done... I guess I kind of feel excited too, which I totally shouldn't, cause I've always been excited to get exam results cause I always do alright, but not this time! I think I'm kinda hoping that I've not done as badly as I feel I have, which I shouldn't be thinking really cause I HAVE done really really badly and I'll just get dissapointed.

I do feel slightly less nervous about next year now than I used to, because I KNOW I've failed graphics, no doubt about it. But I think/hope I'll be able to keep maths, cause I feel my mechanics exam went well, which is only one third of the grade, and while I feel the other two went really badly (I'm talking failed) at least that one OKish mark will prove to the maths teachers that I actually can pass and I can do better, so I'm seriously PRAYING (not literally as I'm not religious but you get the point) that they'll give me a chance to show that I can improve those grades and do as well in the upcoming exams as I (hopefully) have done in my mechanics. Of corse this all totally goes put the window if I've not done well in mechanics, of even if I've failed English or psychology! Which I don't feel I have but who am I to say?

Oh I swear next year I will put the effort in! I will do homewonk at home and not in form the day it's hue in, and I will use my free periods wisely! Not do nothing like I used to do!
You guys have to hold me to that!
